I figure since Mondays are a drag I feel like having you all participate in guessing what these pictures of a certain object are. Once you guess it I will give you a good story that pertains to this object from the bible. It is actually one of my favorite stories in there. Give it a shot. So what is this object. Hint Nabisco uses this object in one of their morsels.

Jesus Curses a Fig Tree.+

Mark 11 verse 12-14

12* the next day as they were leaving Bethany he was hungry. 13 Seeing from a distance a fig tree in leaf, he went over to see if he could find anything on it. When he reached it he found nothing but leaves; it was not the time for figs. 14. And he said to it in reply, "may no one ever eat of your fruit again!" And his disciples heard it.

I think this goes with it perfectly.

The Withered Fig Tree

20* Early in the morning, as they were walking along, they saw the fig tree withered to it's roots. 21 Peter remembered asd said to him, "Rabbi, look! the fig tree that you cursed has withered." Jesus said to them in reply, "have faith in God."

Man, this tree is in my backyard now. They grow very fast, bear fruits most times of the yer except the dead of winter. Years ago, I have actually tried to kill this tree, cut all the major branches where no leaves were left, sever the superficial roots and stopped watering it completely during the summer.

And this thing grew back a whole limb in two weeks so I gave up and let it live. I just found it amazing that Jesus killed this thing just by words, man. And I can't kill it with a saw, pruners and machete.

I will leave it open, I just love this story after I found this story relate to my past experiences in attempting to kill this tree some years back. Good job, Wildride02gt. You get rep points for stepping up the plate.

Ok here is a hint, not in the Bible but another scripture that talks about Christ...I'm mormon if that helps

Well, this hero is name Moroni. I got this from JoshuaT. Look up Liberty in the back of the book. Doing this, just gives a general idea as where the answer may lie. The answer is not on the chapter. Book of Moroni which is labeled on the front.

It is actually on Alma 46:12 page 323
