Auto Parts near RAB???

Where should I go to buy parts near RAB? The auto skills center parts dept wants an arm and a leg! I need a few things for a '90 VW Golf II Euro spec


any help is appreciated!!!

isnt there a junkyard right around the corner from rab? i would check there, i mean that would probably be the best source for stuff, what exactly are you looking for? if you want aftermarket or performance parts then send me a message i have a hook up for military tuners members.

I would say check the junk yard right outside base, the ATU, GK auto over by McDonalds in Vogelweh, and I will check with a co-worker who is always finding parts for his Golf and see if he has any good places to check. It would help to know what parts you might be looking for!!

You can also look in some of the local junkyards that are German ran I don't know of any in RAB area but I know of a few in the Mannheim Area.

Yeah I am still waiting for the guy who I work with to come back to work, he knows of a few decent junk yards in the RAB area!!

I went to GK near McDonalds outside the Voelwegh gate for tie rod end and CV Boot. I just got back from the junkyard outside the RAB East gate and picked up a seat since mine was broken. I'm not looking for performance parts anytime soon, the Golf is just a daily beater. Thanks for all the help

Like the Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Car Quest type store here in Germany!! If you continue on the B-40 past Vogelweh towards K-town you will see one on your left hand side at the split right before you head into K-town!! You will see a Burger King on your left, and VW dealership on your right, and then a light at the light make a right turn and the ATU will be right there!! They have some awesome deals on a lot of items, not everything but a lot of them!!

i saw a listing on the mannheim directory for a strip yard in worms. i really dont know if its open becuase we havent had a base open over there in 12 years. it doesnt hurt to try though.....
